This is a sampling of shots from Oakleaf Plantation
Equestrian Center Presidential Open Horse Show

The sun rose high over the big red barn at Oakleaf Plantation in Jacksonville on February 19, 2005. You couldn't ask for better weather and the show was a well spent enjoyable family day.

This show was a real success story as it was their first horse show and produced a huge turnout. From kids to adults, the show offered classes in Grooming and Conditioning, Halter, Showmanship, Horsemanship, English and Western classes for Pleasure, Equitation, Hack, and Trail classes all added wonderful variety of participation and spectacle to a full day of fun in the sun. Lead line, Mini, Arab, and Gaited classes were a special attraction. Show judge was Linda Weaver of Palm Coast, and Trail judge was Gail Shrine of Jacksonville. Show photographer, PHOTOS BY BOBBIE was on the grounds photographing show performance and ribbon win portraits.

Watch for announcements as they look forward to their second open show on March 26 on Saturday at the same location. There is lots of room to work your horse, clean safe show grounds, and a farrier on hand all day doing hoof care demonstrations. You will find plenty of good parking, fabulous 4H food concession, and great music all day over the PA. For more information Please call Oakleaf Plantation 838-8762 or (904) 777-0707

Show directions are from I-295 north, get off at Blanding Blvd and head north to Collins Road. Make a left hand turn onto Collins and go to the first traffic light which is Rampart Road. Make a right hand turn onto Rampart, then make a right hand turn onto Park City Drive, follow that all the way down like you are going to run back into I-295 and the road will curve to the left, follow that to the two metal gates, come through the gates and there will be the barn.
