Donne & Cavalli Sponsored Trainer Dominates Regional Championships

June 18, 2007 - Perry, GA- Greta Wrigley had a very impressive show at the Region 12 Arabian Horse Championships held in Perry Georgia. The ever-successful Wrigley recently accepted a sponsorship from Donne & Cavalli, makers of the botanical skin care line developed for active equestrians. As the relationship between Donne & Cavalli and Greta Wrigley grows, so does the collection of awards for Wrigley’s stable.

Donne & Cavalli creator, Donna Mastrianni, was excited with the latest results from Wrigley’s stable. Mastrianni told us she s not only impressed by the abilities of Wrigley as a competitor and trainer, but also respects how Greta takes care of the riders at her stable. “One of the reasons I thought the sponsorship was such a good match, was the fact that I know how Great takes care to mentor her many adult amateur riders”, said Mastrianni.

Wrigley’s attention to individual needs paid off at the Region 12 Championships, where the Wrigley team managed to come home with an outstanding twelve championship titles, including a win from Wrigley in the Intermediare II on her own gelding, Aabracadabra. HR Puf-N-Stuf, owned by Kristen Petzold, came away with his own accumulation of Championship ribbons taking multiple titles in the Fourth Level dressage division as well as HA/AA Sport Horse Show Hack and HA/AA Sport Horse in Hand. Congratulations are certainly in order for SHF Hale Bop and owner Mary Meeks, who swept the Purebred Sport Horse division with wins in the Open and Amateur Sport Horse in hand and the Open and Junior Sport Horse Under Saddle.

Reserve Champion honors went to Heather Stalker and her Tswannee Tsultan in the Prix St. Georges. Nobill LX and Margaret Auerbach also won Reserve Champion honors in the HA/AA Sport Horse Under Saddle. In total, the group also claimed over twenty Top 5 ribbons in a multitude of divisions. “It’s fun backing a winning team,” laughed Mastrianni. And Wrigley added the she felt she had also “teamed with a winner when she became involved with the Donne & Cavalli sponsorship”.
